For over 10 years as an OPD Trainer, Melissa’s legal background as a solicitor, her 12 years of Marriage, Naming, Same Sex ceremonies and funeral celebrant work, over 4 years training Certificate IV in Marriage Celebrancy and her interesting hobbies ensure your OPD will be a fun, enjoyable, vibrant and relevant experience. Interests include ritual, music, yoga, singing, end of life care in Cuba, Volunteering and facilitating Death Cafes. Ask her about singing her couples down the aisle!

Melissa trains for Qualtrain who have taken over from AssentTECS in 2017 and Carol Astbury who started the organisation was amongst the first pioneer civil marriage celebrants appointed by Lionel Murphy in 1974 so has a wealth of knowledge and experience. They are truly celebrant-focused.
