Celebrating a life at this tender time of grief and mixed emotions is made easier for all concerned if handled with sensitivity and compassion. I will work with you and your relatives/friends to create a truly personal service that honours, respects and celebrates the life passed. I consider funerals or Ceremonies of Remembrance to be the most meaningful of ceremonies and it is a privilege to celebrate the life of a soul with a service that reflects the richness of their life (or otherwise) and honours the interconnecting circle of friends and family they have left behind.
Some people wish to simply celebrate the entry of a new soul into the world or ease the departure of a soul soon to leave – (perhaps someone who is suffering or very ill) & acknowledge its divinity with special ritual eg fire ceremony, the scattering of flowers, chanting of mantras such as the Mahamrityunjaya mantra (to ease suffering). I also work with terminally ill clients to ensure they have positive control and creative input into the ceremony that will celebrate their existence after they are gone; I have seen how empowering this can be to those that are so sick and feel powerless in so many other areas.
